Outside Food & Desserts
Do You Allow Outside Food?
Generally no.
Exceptions may be considered for:
- Wedding cakes
- Specialty desserts
All requests are reviewed case-by-case.
Homemade Items
A homemade wedding cake or cupcakes that are being consumed on site requires event liability insurance.
Must obtain a day-of event liability policy with a minimum of $2,000,000 coverage.
Recommended providers:
- PAL Insurance
- Duo Event Insurance
These policies help protect both the service provider and the event hosts.
Wedding Favours
Home-baked favours are permitted if:
- Individually wrapped and sealed
- Clearly labelled for allergens
- Distributed at the end of the event
- Intended for off-site consumption
If not being consumed on-site, you do not need a day-of event liability policy
Wine or Alcohol Favours
Alcoholic favours must be distributed at the end of the event and may not be placed on guest tables.
Specialty Dessert Vendors
Examples:
- Donut Walls
- Bubble Tea Vendors
- Ice Cream or Gelato Vendors
A 15% Landmark fee applies.
Required:
- Bakery/vendor receipt
- Proof of insurance
Example:
If the bubble tea package costs $1,000, the venue may add a 15% landmark fee ($150).
Food Trucks
Food trucks are not permitted.
