Key Things to Know

1 | The rehearsal is not required for success

Your bridal party does not need to “know what they’re doing” perfectly.

On the wedding day, the coordinator provides live direction, cues, and positioning. Even guests who have never attended a rehearsal (or who feel nervous, distracted, or overwhelmed) are fully guided in real time.

The ceremony is designed to be easy to follow with professional direction in place.

2 | Attendance is flexible and very common to be incomplete

It is extremely normal for not everyone to attend the rehearsal.

In fact, many weddings include:

  • bridal party members who are traveling or unavailable
  • family members who cannot attend
  • officiants who arrive day-of

This does not negatively impact the ceremony. With proper coordination, the wedding day still runs smoothly and confidently.

3 | Rehearsals are short and simple

Rehearsals are scheduled for one hour, but most are completed in 20–25 minutes.

The additional time allows for:

  • late arrivals
  • introductions and settling in
  • questions
  • larger or more complex ceremony layouts

Longer rehearsals are only needed for larger wedding parties or ceremonies with multiple rituals or moving parts.

4 | What the rehearsal is actually for

The rehearsal is simply an opportunity to:

  • Introduce everyone (couple, wedding party, officiant, coordinator)
  • Connect the coordinator and officiant
  • Walk through the processional and recessional
  • Identify simple cues (“markers”) for when to walk
  • Confirm where everyone stands and when they move

That’s it.

There is no choreography, no memorization, and no pressure.

  • People do not forget how to walk down an aisle.
  • Wedding day energy is naturally calmer and more guided than rehearsal energy.
  • Guests respond to clear, confident direction—and that is what your coordinator provides.
  • The rehearsal is a low-stress, supportive walkthrough, not a test.

Dinner After Rehearsals

If your rehearsal is scheduled for a Monday or Tuesday when our restaurant is closed, we will not be able to accommodate a dinner after the rehearsal.
